My trip to Bansko, Bulgaria.

Two weeks ago I went on my first trip ever out of the country. My sister, her friends and I embarked on the bus along with other university students and began our 12-hour-trip to go to Bansko, Bulgaria which is a touristic village known for its skiing facilities.

Being a generally confused 16-year-old girl I went on this trip excited to be travelling out of the country yet a bit worried about fitting in. But university students aren’t like that. They are relaxed and fun to be with. It seems as if they know what they want in life. It felt great to leave school, teenage worries, “friends” behind. This trip gave me clarity about a few thing and showed me that they are people out there who are nice and interesting and of course stupid people, even too “friendly” people. I met people who were future photographers, teacher, mathematicians, phycologists….  Plus it was kind of funny watching people’s faces when I would tell them that I’m 16 and not 20!

I said before that Bansko is known for its skiing facilities… Well, I didn’t ski. I just partied, met people, laughed and drew!!!!!

I hope you enjoy theses photos:

This evening I’m going to a friend’s party so I thought it was a good idea to show you my make-up and hair for the night. Who knows, maybe you are going to party too and you have no idea what you’re going to do with your face and hair!

1.wash your face, dry it with a towel and then put some moisturaser on.

2.Apply (green concealer) corector focusing on the  red marks left from acne.

3.Apply foundation and powder evenly to your face and neck.

4.Eyeshadows.

Yesterday I bought a new eyeshadow pallete. I had seen it a few days earlier and I can say that it was love at first sight J ! It’s from “essense”s new collection “Hello Autumn” and it’s the “02 keep calm & go for a walk” eyeshadow palette. As you can see it consists of 6 different colour and my favourite is definitely the 6th one which is also the darkest on. I just love this dark green colour so much!

a)      First, apply eyeshadow number 1 across the flexible lid.
b)      Then,  apply eyeshadow number 3 right in the middle of the flexible lid.
c)      Last, apply eyeshadow number 6 to your outer corner and blend.

5. Black eye liner and black eye pencil.

The eyeliner goes across the flexible eye lid as a beautiful line and wing and the eye pencil goes across the line of the lower lashes.

6. Apply a generous amount on mastara to you eyelashes and a smaller amount to your lower lashes.

7. Red lipstick
Apply red lipstick and red lipgloss.

8. Eyebrows .
Apply a tiny amount of an almost empty black or brown mastara to yor eyedrows  just enough to align the hair.

9. Lastly, you need some spark!

I used two silver moon-shaped stones!

And that’s the finished make-up look….

Hairstyle

I’ve decided to curl my hair as my hair is naturally completely straight and I decided it was the perfect opportunity to change it up a bit!

1.Apply a generous amount of stayling mouse to you hair in order for the hair style to last lomger.
  2.Simply, comb your hair.
3.Use a curlying iron to make beautiful curls. I seperated my hair into four in order to get all of the        hair.
4.Use hair spray to make the hairstyle last even longer.

Done!!!

The complete look….

Christmas is just around the corner! Are you excited or what?

With regard to a conversation we had at my school’s theater club where we disgusted the topic “Christmas loneliness” I’ve decided to write an article about it. We put some black papers on the wall and all of us wrote (or draw) our thoughts. Some of us wrote that they hated Christmas and others  wrote that they were excited for Christmas and presents, sweets, coffee etc. The first thing that came to my mind (apart from coffee :P ) was the fact that we feel pressured to be in a relationship. I remember feeling that way the previous years but now I’m glad and lucky enough to say that I’m happy with just myself as I’ve learned that only I can make myself happy. We talked about that for a while and we came to the realization that a lot of teenagers feel this kind of pressure.

If you feel that way know that it’s ok! It’s ok to be single. Who said that relationships make you happy? Disney, movies? Well guess what relationships are hard work and they usually don’t work out. I think that us teenagers should not feel pressured about this kind of things. We should focus on going out and having fun with friends and family. Don’t feel jealous  of the girl next to you because she has a boyfriend. Just wish then happiness with all your heart and focus on yourself and your loved ones.

P.S: Don’t say that you’re alone and no one loves you. Think about how lucky you are that so many people love you.

I KNOW I AM LUCKY! ;)

Quite some time has passed since I did my last post. Life has been  good so far, full of studying and laughing. This is just an update from a Halloween party that I went to last night. I dressed up as a witch! We listened to amazing core music and had the time of our lives. I saw my friends and even met a few new people. I totally singed my heart out when can you feel my heart by bring me the horizon came on. Here in Greece we don't celebrate Halloween but how cares? We still dressed up as creatures of the night and hit the streets. Everyone was looking at us but again, who care?
P.S. Everyone had great hair!

Me and Anna!

 At the metro station! Creepy....

 The teenage witch!

Happy Halloween everyone <3

So much is happening right now. Things that I would have never imagined myself doing. Things that would make me sad even thinking about them. But they are things that I have to do. My goals have altered because of life. Of course my dreams are still there. The way I see it that means that I’ll fulfill my dreams in a different way than I had imagined which gives me more time to figure out exactly what I want to do for the rest of my life. It is such a big decision. Maybe you think it’s what you want but then you make up one day and it’s not.

All of this change in my life absolutely scares me. Changing my goals, taking extreme medication for my acne, going on a diet and seriously trying Youtube are quite big changes in my life. But they are things that I’ll have to do and that I even want to do eventually.

I’m trying to be positive and welcome these changes. It’s still scary though. I really hope that it won’t be as bad as I think it will be. And after all change is also refreshing. I'll meet new people and learn new things! Best of luck to me…

How do you really move on from something that changed you for good?

How do you really move on from something that changed you for good? How do you completely get your mind off what happened in the past? How do you overcome the sadness that comes along with getting flashbacks from sad and happy memories about it? How do you keep calm when you go back to the same places? How do you really do that?

I’ve been praying for over a year now for someone to give me the answer but nothing, for something to give me a hint, for even myself to explain how is it possible that the person itself never really meant much to me, but instead the situation has been tormenting me for so long.

To this day I still get these thoughts: “Why didn’t it work?” “What did I do wrong?” “Why am I the only one who still remembers and feels kind of hurt?” “Why?” . It seems unfair, doesn’t it? My answer to all of these questions is that I’ll just have to live with it and move on from the past. But I haven’t completely listened to myself yet.

Don’t get me wrong. I haven’t just been sitting for this whole year thinking about it and doing nothing. I have actually accomplished a few things this year, the most important being feeling happy and self-loved. But you know how bad thoughts or memories appear so suddenly and ruin your moment, your day, your week, your month or maybe even your live.

Anyway, what I’m hopelessly looking for is leaving the past behind and really moving forward. Nobody can enjoy life to the fullest when he continues to blame himself for things that aren’t important and aren’t even really his fault. But again, how do I achieve that? How do I move on from something that was over before it began but still meant a lot to me?
